NARS And God Created The Woman Set - Review & Swatches

Does anyone remember this?

Following the quick sell-out and hype of NARS And God Created the Woman Kit, which was released last spring, NARS brought this basic staples palette back out again.  Featuring 6 ultra wearable shades, this palette can easily take you from a light, daytime look to a dark, smokey eye quite easily.

The palette features six beloved NARS eyeshadows: Alhambra, Bellisima, Kalahari, Galapagos, Coconut Grove, and Night Clubbing.  The 'Kit' also includes a large fluffy, blending brush, with a short handle - making it perfect for travel, as well as a sample of the NARS Smudge-Proof Eyeshadow Primer.

I like to use the top three shades for a simple, everyday eye look, but I also sometimes like to pop a little of Galapagos onto the outer corner and Coconut Grove to line my lashes.

One thing I should mention is the size - it's tiny.  You can see the comparison size of the palette next to a NARS Eyeshadow Duo.  The eyeshadows themselves are also smaller than expected, about half the size of one of the NARS Eyeshadow Duo eyeshadows.

However, the size can actually work in its favor - this is the ultimate travel palette.  I'm going away to Europe for about a month this summer and this is probably the palette I'll take with me, as it has an amazing range of shades: light neutrals to darker smokey shadows.  Despite the size discrepancy and the price ($59), there is no fault to this palette!
