You know that blush that you bought so long ago? The one stuffed in your collection that never seems to see the light of day? Well, until recently, that was NARS Luster ($29) for me.
Purchased around a year ago, I used this maybe once since purchasing it. I was on the fence about whether I should sell it or not, until I decided to try it once more just to be sure of my decision - and that's when I fell in love. It's sort of like that episode of Friends, the one where Monica wants to break up with the guy she's dating, until they kiss and fall for each other. Luster is the boyfriend to my Monica - (Sorry if you don't watch Friends and don't get that reference, but stop reading this and go start watching Friends!).
Luster is a peach blush, but it's just so much more than that. It's slightly more orange than just a peach blush, with gold shimmer running throughout. Sephora describes it as a 'sheer golden apricot' - which is basically true, the golden apricot part at least. As with pretty much any NARS Blusher, it's nothing close to sheer, it's very pigmented, so it's easy to go overboard with, so be careful not to put too much on! But because it's so pigmented, it also lasts all day.
Also keep in mind that this is a very warm-toned blusher, which a cool-toned person could definitely wear, but it's still something to be aware of.
If you're in the market for a new high-end blush, definitely go swatch this at your closest NARS counter, as it's quickly becoming my new favorite NARS blush!
Have you tried this blusher before? What's your favorite NARS blusher?
