NEOM Sumptuous Candle Review

I've always been obsessed with candles, I constantly go to the store and stock up on about 5 different ones at a time.  My room constantly smells like pumpkins/cherries/apple pie.  However, until very recently (i.e. 4 weeks) I've been perfectly content buying my candles at Wal-Mart, and not spending a penny over $5 on a candle.  I always figured, they're probably just as good as the expensive ones, so why spend my money on the more expensive ones when the Wal-Mart ones are the exact same! Oh, how wrong I was!

A few days before I left the United States to study abroad for the year, I went to White Barn and bought 4 mini-candles and a one-wick candle, as well.  The scents were so tempting, I couldn't say no, even though I was leaving the States in a matter of days.  I have had dreams about these scents, they're so delectable!  However, nothing could prepare for the amazing-ness that is NEOM Luxury Candles.

To say they're the best and strongest smelling candles I've ever tried can't even describe how I feel about these things.  It is like heaven in a little jar.

Mmm... I can almost smell it!

Last week, I burnt my new NEOM Sumptuous Travel Size Candle on and off.  I came back from 2 days in southern Germany and walked into my room and it smelled exactly like this candle, even though I hadn't burnt it in about 3 days!  Just by leaving the candle out it fills up my room with its beautiful scent, which I think is pretty great.

The travel size candles cost £15 and contain 75g of product, and will burn for up to 20 hours.  I've noticed it does seem a bit quicker than candles I've used in the past, which is upsetting considering the astronomical price :/

Nonetheless, I think it's absolutely worth it.  The smell is unlike anything I've ever smelled before!

It's described as a Rose and Neroli (Orange Blossom) scent, and it definitely smells like a beautiful rose with something extra, I'm not exactly sure what Orange Blossom is supposed to smell like, but if this is what it smells like, I'm in love!

The fragrance is described as such: The most deliciously decadent scent in the NEOM library, this combination of heady, precious wild Rose with Neroli (Orange Blossom) combines two of the most expensive oils to create the most opulent feel-good scent in the world.

This candle also has a treatment: Rose is a calming, soothing oil whilst precious Neroli (Orange Blossom) lifts your spirit and calms the mind.  This is the most luxurious way to lift your mood...perfect for women.

Now, I'm not too sure if this really does everything it says it's going to, but what I can say is that the scent does make me feel really relaxed, very calm, it's a very serene scent.  It didn't necessarily lift my mood, but I wasn't in a bad mood to begin with, so I might test that further!

Overall, the price of the candle is nothing close to cheap, but the luxurious scent and the power of the scent is undeniable.  I can say already I will be purchasing the large version of this when I go back to London in December, I may even buy multiples, as this scent is that immaculate!

NEOM Candles can be purchased at John Lewis, but I've seen them on Feel Unique and Beauty Bay, as well.  The travel size is £15, while the larger size (380g) is £39.50.
